Here Is The Keyboard Apple Should Have Made

Owners of Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro can now buy this classic wired keyboard that matches the Apple aesthetic’s look and the feel. This keyboard is available in Space Grey or Silver styles.
The Matias Wired Aluminum Keyboard keyboard fills in a few gaps which the company opted not to chase up, and takes design inspiration from Apple’s aluminum keyboard.

The keyboard’s built-in hub is wonderful for interfacing external HDDs as well as the standard wired mouse (or wireless dongle). The keyboard’s USB mouse friendly (2-port) built-in hub is ideal for attaching your favorite mouse to external drives as well as different devices with its secondary port available.
The keyboard’s number pad is the unit to select if you prefer Apple’s wired keyboard with the numeric keypad but want it to be wireless.
With the smart keys you can check screen brightness, iTunes, as well as a whole bunch more with easy to use smart function key options.
In the package there has been included in the box a free adapter for Mac owners that have USB-C ports.
A plus for buyers who have external speakers, and also it does have volume keys, the keyboard’s volume dial allows you MUCH accurate volume control than what you will get from pressing the volume keys. The super accurate dial provides sixty-four volume levels, specifically, vs. the 16volume key increments. 4x more accurate.

Mac friendly key for features: The function keys, similar to an keyboard from Apple, lets you monitor the screen brightness, iTunes, volume, and a whole lot more. There is also a Fn key, that lets you change the function keys briefly, and when you need to, revert back to their standard functions.
Support for Legacy Mac OS: All back to version 10.6.8, the wired keyboard operate with Mac OS X, Snow Leopard. And this can be a massive plus if you are running legacy software on older editions.

MagSafe Magnetic Charging

One similarity between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro is their battery life. The phones provide passable battery life, however this is a rung down from 2019’s iPhones. I’ve typically been getting about just over four hours of usage for each full charge using 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi. Now, this is only a full day of usage, and has a small buffer amount of charge. For example, I could easily get at least a day-and-a-half from both the iPhone 11 and also the iPhone XR. Getting a full day’s usage is fine, but it would’ve nice to have more of a safety net for those days where there is a lot usage.
Speaking of charging, the company has gone with a rather interesting policy of stopping bundling power adaptors and earbuds with iPhones for environmental reasons. So all you will receive in their box – other than your iPhone 12 itself, is a USB C to Lightning cord. I do not think this is a big deal. Apple’s Earpods aren’t the best, & most people do have a power brick anyway. And the problematic part is Apple’s selection of cord. You will be needing a power brick with a USB Type C port to use it but if you are coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max, your iPhone charger will have a USB connector.
However you can utilise an older cable & charger, however you’ll not get the quick charging times that the iPhone 12 can achieve. And if you want to buy a USB-C charging adaptor, you are spending $30 in order to buy one of these.

It’s Reffered To As MagSafe Because It Uses Magnets

Don’t forget, Apple also now has their convenient new wireless charging standard named MagSafe. This system consists of a circular shaped wireless charger that will magnetically snaps onto the rear of the iPhone 12. And this gives the best alignment to get faster wireless charge, and it means that you are able to use use your phone while it’s being wirelessly charged which you cannot with a standard charger. You can able to get a faster charge with a normal charger, but MagSafe can charge the iPhone 12 from zero to 40% in around half an hour.
Because it is Apple buying MagSafe is going to cost you more. You’ll need to spend nearly $65 for the charger itself, as well as $29 should you need a USB-C charging adaptor. And if you are wanting the magnets to snap to your case or cover, you will need to purchase a MagSafe case. The MagSafe charger can charge through most cases and covers, but it won’t stick to it. Apple’s MagSafe covers and cases start at $79.
And while there are aspects of Apple’s MagSafe that are OEM, it will function as a normal wireless charger that is compatible with any phone that uses it. The charge time will be a bit slower, however as fast. As of right now, MagSafe is a new, fun and costly accessory, and I’m interested in seeing where the system will lead to.
Because most of iPhone owners don’t need a MagSafe charger for the office, there sure is a lot of potential when it comes to accessories such as vehicle mounts where MagSafe will prove beneficial.

The Company Samsung Reduces Smartphone Output Through The Month Of April Because Demand Plummets

According to a report in the tech source The Elec says that Samsung will scale back output from about 25 million phones a month to just 10 million devices through the month of April. This outlet quotes an un-named source to suggest that current Covid-19 Iockdowns as well as the shutting of production facilities in India and the country of Brazil are causing of the contraction of output.
The company believes production would be normalized in the month of May when both the India and Brazil plants will recommence production. However, even though this lockdown has already been extended in India till May 3 as well as knowing that Covid-19 occurences are unfortunately increasing in both these countries, the anticipated return to normal may yet take a more lengthy process than Samsung anticipates.
Yet, there is also a silver lining for Samsung. Predicted sales of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra have been outperforming market predictions with sales expected to reach 6 million devices through this year as against the expected sales of about 3.5 to 5.25 million handsets.
